Translation & Proofreading

Specialised in several fields, I offer translation, proofreading, correction and adaptation services. In order to guarantee an accurate and faithful translation of the source text, I only translate into my mother tongue, French. In addition, my mastery of translation software and terminology in various fields of specialisation enables me to provide you with work of the highest quality.

Sworn Interpreting and translation

Registered in the national register of Belgian sworn translators and interpreters, I am authorised to translate and legalise your legal documents such as notarial deeds, civil status documents, driving licences or diplomas. I can also accompany you to appointments with your lawyer, to the hospital or to the police station, while guaranteeing the confidentiality of your discussions.

About me

Training

After graduating with a Master's degree in Multidisciplinary Translation in 2019, I started a second Master's degree in Conference Interpreting at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Mons. During my training, I had the opportunity to carry out several volunteer assignments, including an internship at COPA-COGECA. In addition, I followed a complementary training course in legal knowledge for sworn translators and interpreters at the Université libre de Bruxelles in order to perfect my knowledge in this field.

After completing my training, I started my own business and have since been working as a freelance translator and interpreter in the private sector.

French translation of Planeta Paraìso

As part of my dissertation, I was asked to do a partial translation of this collection of science fiction short stories. It was at the end of my studies that the Argentinian author, Tomas Alva Andrei, asked me to complete the translation of his first novel, whose main themes are ecology and the preservation of our planet.

Remote simultaneous interpretation

In these special times, videoconferencing has become increasingly commonplace. Interpreters have also been forced to adapt and reinvent themselves. This is why I have trained myself in the use of various interpreting platforms such as Zoom, KUDO and Interprefy and opted for equipment adapted to online meetings in order to guarantee quality services.
